Dresscode

The following outlines EDC’s dress code; detailing the color and style of clothing, shoes and hair style. Please be sure you adhere to this policy for recreational programs. You can additionally visit our student handbook for detail information if needed

Mommy & Me:

  • Pink ballet shoes (girls)
  • Black ballet shoes (boys)
  • Form fitting dancewear

Creative Classes I, II, III:

  • Ballet – pink ballet shoes for girls, black ballet shoes for boys
  • Tap – tan velcro tap shoes for girls, black tie up tap shoes for boys
  • Acrobatics – bare feet
  • Dance-wear – your choice as long as it is form fitting
  • Hair – pulled back in a pony tail or low bun

School Grade Classes:

  • Ballet – pink ballet shoes girls, black ballet shoes for boys
  • Tap – black lace up tap shoes
  • Jazz – tan slip on jazz shoes
  • Lyrical – tan slip on jazz shoes
  • Hip Hop – Indoor sneakers that are not worn outside
  • Dance Team – Indoor sneakers that are not worn outside
  • Acrobatics – bare feet
  • Dance-wear – your choice as long as it is form fitting.
  • Hair – pulled back in a pony tail or low bun
